If you are a customer or an employee, we are required by law, to hold your personal information for 6 years from the end of our contract. If your job application has been unsuccessful, we will hold the information for 6 months unless you request us to delete the information earlier.
WHERE WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We limit access to your personal information to certain people processing it who do so only in an authorised manner. They are subject to a duty of confidentiality. We have a secure server that is backed up daily. Whilst we do our best to keep your personal data safe, the use of the internet is widely acknowledged that it is not entirely secure and for this reason we cannot guarantee the security or integrity of any personal data that is transferred from or to you via the internet. As our website contains links to third party websites owned and operated by other people and businesses, we recommend that you review their privacy and cookie policies before providing them with any personal information.

If you provide us the details of a person who we can contact for a job reference, we may contact that person in connection with your job application.

– receive on their behalf any data protection notices
Sensitive personal information
Sensitive personal information can include details pertaining to your ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, physical or mental health, sexual orientation and participation in criminal activity. We do not collect your sensitive personal information.
Children
DISC Electrical does not knowingly collect personal data relating to children under the age of 16. If you are a parent or guardian of a child under the age of 16 and think that we may have information relating to that child, please contact us. We will ask you to prove your relationship to the child but if you do so you may (subject to applicable law) request access to and deletion of that child’s personal data.
